Venø Fish Farm A/S buys fertilised turbot eggs from a very competent producer in Norway.

Our production method ensures very robust and healthy juveniles which have excellent growth rates and pigmentation.

At a size of about 5 grams some of our turbot are exported to ongrowing farms (in Ireland, Spain and China). Others are kept until they get to about 15 grams, when they are tagged and released in stock enhancement programs.

As with all Venø Fish Farm's activities, turbot production is carried out in close cooperation with the veterinary authorities, so we can always document the health status of the fish.
